What is DIT about?
Is it for you?

Is DIT Treatment for you?

Who do we help?

Treatment is not just for children who have learning difficulties, such as those diagnosed with ADD or ADHD most adults and children would benefit. Because we use surrogacy testing with kinesiology, we can treat children younger than 5 years of age and there is no real upper age limit.

If you have a formal diagnosis of any form of learning difficulty,
  • Dyslexia
  • Dyspraxia / co-ordination problems
  • Attention Deficit Disorder/ ADHD
  • Suspected Asperger’s or mild ASD
  • SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)
Then you probably have developmental delay plus some other areas that we deal with.

The greater majority of candidates for DIT, do not have a formal diagnosis - either they are fortunate enough to talk to someone else who has received treatment and recognise the indicators, or they simply have a parental instinct. No one knows a child better than it’s own parents – and usually parents know instinctively when something is just not ‘quite right’ with their child.

For a child the most likely indicators are:

  • Problems during pregnancy
  • Birth early or late.
  • Difficult delivery.
  • Feeding difficulties
  • Delay in learning to walk and talk
  • Child did not crawl
  • Bedwetting or thumb sucking after age 5.
  • difficulty with reading or writing
  • a need to re-read the same word or phrase to understand meaning
  • difficulty with mathematics
  • Poor organisational skills
  • memory problems – with spellings or tables
  • co-ordination problems
  • inability to concentrate
  • hesitant speech,
  • poor word recall
  • poor verbal reasoning skills

For adults:

  • A diagnosis such as SAD or Depression
  • Unexplained anxiety
  • Restlessness unable to relax
  • Feels of low self-esteem or inferiority
  • Problems with concentration
  • Problems with remembering
  • Problems with motivation to get things done
  • Organisation difficulties
  • Feeling overwhelmed by life
